Dallas AfterSchool Network's Afterschool Achievers is a special event to recognize the individual accomplishments of students in afterschool time. Afterschool programs from across the region selected students to be recognized in one of the following categories: Academics, Arts, Citizenship & Leadership, Sports, Special Interest. Honored students received special gifts and the audience was entertained by a variety of student performances. One graduating high school student received an $8,000 scholarship scholarship sponsored by the Powdermaker Family Foundation.
