DALLAS - Once infested with drugs and gangs, a Dallas apartment complex is thriving in large part to an after-school program that is run inside its gates.
Trey Washington, 9, hopes to become a surgeon someday. He lives in the Hillburn Hills Apartments in southeast Dallas. In 1993, The Washington Post reported the complex to be the most dangerous in the entire country.
