DALLAS - Summer time inside of the Umphress Road United Methodist Church in Dallas is usually buzzing.
But, this year, the church had to cut its summer program because its sponsor, the non-profit Wilkinson Center, has seen a steep drop in donations.
The center has slashed its entire summer program, which cost $86,000, which means about 300 kids have nowhere to go this summer. For many of them, no summer program means they miss out on meals.
